Currently, APEX Games is at the beginning stages of development.

And as the parent company, their strategy to bring awareness and gain users is by building APEX Casino, an interactive casino game.

Our goal was to provide APEX with the foundation to start its next phase of development.

Our team took inspiration from APEX’s design concepts, turn them into high-fidelity prototypes, and test them for user feedback.

Process

Our first initial step was meeting with the stakeholder and identifying the users. From there, we conducted a competitive analysis and deep secondary research.

1.

For our next steps, we created low-fidelity feature cards based on the competitive analysis. We recruited users and conducted our first user test using the bullseye diagram method.

2.

Based on the users’ high-priority selections within the bullseye, we developed 3 design options for each top feature. From there, we conducted our 2nd user test through dot voting.

3.

At last, we created high-fidelity prototypes based on top design selections from dot voting. We conducted a usability test and then refined our final high-fidelity prototype design.
